There was a minor upset in Montevideo where 8th ranked Nacional (11-13) was edged by tenth ranked L.Borges (10-14) 77-74 on Friday. Strangely Nacional outrebounded L.Borges 54-33 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Gaston Semiglia (186-1991) fired 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Naturalized Italian Leandro Morales (186-1980, college: Texas A&M, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in 21 points. Four L.Borges players scored in double figures. Point guard Alejandro Acosta (189-1989) produced 25 points and 9 rebounds and American JC Fuller (194-1994, college: W.Illinois, agency: Slash Sports) added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Nacional's coach Gonzalo Fernandez tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. L.Borges moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Trouville and Urupan. Nacional lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 13 games lost.
