No shocking result in a game when Teporacas smashed on the road Lenadoras 78-52 on Saturday. Teporacas forced 36 Lenadoras turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international Sofia Payan (167-2000) scored 21 points to lead the charge for the winners and the former international swingman Sandra Vargas (174-1997) chipped in 13 points and 4 assists during the contest. American guard Megan Garcia (173) responded with 7 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international forward Nadia Gonzalez (178-2002) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Teporacas will meet at home Mieleras in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lenadoras will play against Mexcaltecas in Tepic and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
