Rather expected game when 13th ranked Brasilia (7-18) was defeated at home by tenth ranked Sao Jose (12-14) 100-94 on Saturday. Sao Jose dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Brasilia's 32 and made 28-of-34 free shots (82.4 percent) during the game. Sao Jose forced 21 Brasilia turnovers. Argentinian point guard Diego Figueredo (185-1991, agency: BIG) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 assists for the winners. Power forward Renato Carbonari (202-1987) chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws). Sao Jose's coach Sebastian Luis Figueredo used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Gemadinha Sacco (183-1997) produced 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his twelve free throws !!!) and forward Paulo Scheuer (203-1999) added 17 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side.
