Regular Season Round 2: Racers - Lobas 79-66

There was no surprise in Saltillo where Lobas were defeated by Racers 79-66 on Saturday. Racers forced 21 Lobas turnovers. Strangely Lobas outrebounded Racers 42-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. Jhoana Moran (157-1993) scored 24 points to lead the charge for the winners and guard Alma Dominguez (163-1997) chipped in 10 points during the contest. Anel Tapia responded with 13 points and the former international power forward Carolina Romo (179-1993) scored 8 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Racers will meet Quetzales in the next round. Lobas will have a break next round.
