No shocking result in a game in Brasilia where ninth ranked Sao Jose (13-14) smashed bottom-ranked Cerrado (4-21) 96-64 on Monday. Sao Jose forced 21 Cerrado turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Argentinian point guard Diego Figueredo (185-1991, agency: BIG) scored 25 points, 8 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and American William Green (196-1991, college: Stetson) chipped in 23 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Sao Jose players scored in double figures. Power forward Ruan Miranda (205-2001) responded with 18 points and 9 rebounds and guard Daniel Von Haydin (194-1999) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Cerrado's coach Michael Rossi gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Sao Jose maintains ninth position with 13-14 record. Cerrado lost eighth consecutive game.
