Regular Season Round 2: Tijuana - Guaymas 82-75

First defeat of league's leader Ostioneros de Guaymas against Tijuana Zonkeys 82-75 was the most important game of the last round. American guard Spencer Williams (188-1995, college: Wooster) orchestrated the victory by scoring 34 points (!!!). The other American import guard Joshua Webster (190-1997, college: Missouri St.) contributed with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Daytone Jennings (206-1997, college: CSUSB) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and Cuban center Marvin Cairo (203-1991) added 17 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Ostioneros de Guaymas. Four Ostioneros de Guaymas players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ostioneros de Guaymas will play next round against Venados trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Tijuana Zonkeys will try to continue on its current victory against Caballeros de Culiacan on the road.
