There was a minor upset when Halcones de Ciudad Obregon lost at home to Rayos de Hermosillo 79-72 on Wednesday. Rayos de Hermosillo made 26-of-32 free shots (81.3 percent) during the game, while Halcones de Ciudad Obregon only scored three points from the stripe. American players dominated the game. Guard Nojel Eastern (198-1999, college: Howard) notched a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) supported him with 17 points and 9 rebounds. Even 27 points and 8 rebounds by guard Jimmy Whitt (190-1997, college: Arkansas, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for Halcones de Ciudad Obregon.
