Everything went according to plan in Saltillo where second ranked Racers (5-1) beat 6th ranked Lenadoras (1-7) 70-60. Racers dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Lenadoras' 26. Racers forced 30 Lenadoras turnovers. The winners were led by the former international swingman Daniela Soto (177-1995) who scored that evening 21 points and 4 steals and Kimberly Aguilar supported her with 8 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Even 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists by American guard Megan Garcia (173) did not help to save the game for Lenadoras. The former international forward Nadia Gonzalez (178-2002) added 13 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Five Lenadoras players scored in double figures. Racers have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 5-1 record having five points less than leader Teporacas. Lenadoras at the other side keep the sixth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Mexcaltecas.
