Racers dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Mexcaltecas' 20. Strangely Mexcaltecas outrebounded Racers 45-32 including 33 on the defensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Racers made 7 blocks. The former international swingman Daniela Soto (177-1995) stepped up and scored 30 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Kimberly Aguilar chipped in 13 points and 4 steals. Monica Cuevas responded with 9 points and 8 rebounds and Jaqueline Castrejon scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Racers.
