Fifth-ranked Ostioneros de Guaymas (6-9) were very close to win a game against first ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (11-4). Rayos de Hermosillo managed to secure only two-point victory 78-76. However their fans expected much easier game. Rayos de Hermosillo outrebounded Ostioneros de Guaymas 43-31 including 31 on the defensive glass.
