Everything went according to plan when first ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (14-4) beat at home bottom-ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (5-13) 80-72 on Wednesday. Rayos de Hermosillo made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) who scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international forward Jorge Camacho (203-1989, college: EKU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Four Rayos de Hermosillo players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Tony Farmer (201-1994, college: Lee JC) who recorded a double-double by scoring 30 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Raul Delgado (190-1991, college: MSU Denver) added 18 points and 9 rebounds respectively.
