It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Olimpico. American guard Thomas Cooper (196-1992, college: Calgary) nailed 16 points and 4 assists for the winning side and the former international center Ivan Basualdo (203-1990) accounted for 12 points and 6 rebounds. La Union's coach Sebastian Ginobili allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Forward Patricio Tabarez (195-1991) came up with 23 points and American guard Elyjah Clark (190-1998, college: MSSU) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively for Olimpico in the defeat. Five La Union and four Olimpico players scored in double figures. La Union have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They moved-up to tenth place. Olimpico at the other side dropped to the sixth position with 14 games lost. La Union will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Olimpico will play on the road against Regatas (#8) in Corrientes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
