The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Dream Ballers as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Dream Ballers smashed 7th ranked Red Taigaz in Dangriga 92-49. They outrebounded Red Taigaz 59-35 including a 49-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Dream Ballers players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Red Taigaz's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Edgar Mitchell (-1993) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Forward Jahiem Ciego contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Dream Ballers players scored in double figures. American Jeremiah Toney (196-1998, college: Southwest, agency: One Motive Sports) answered with 25 points and 7 rebounds and forward Brandon Flowers (196-1995) added 6 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Red Taigaz. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Red Taigaz lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with six games lost.
