No shocking result in a game in Corrientes where fifth ranked Regatas (23-12) defeated 19th ranked Olimpico (7-29) 65-50 on Saturday. Regatas made 16-of-16 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Viktor Bender who helped to win the game recording 10 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Juan Peral (179-2005) who added 8 points during the contest. Regatas' coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Francisco Paz responded with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Carlos Hurtado scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Regatas have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 23-12 record. Olimpico lost fifteenth consecutive game. They keep the nineteenth place with 29 games lost. Regatas will meet La Union (#14) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Olimpico will play against San Martin (#20) in Corrientes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
