Top ranked Broncos (10-4) recorded its fourth loss in Caracas on Monday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Brillantes (9-5) 77-62. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Broncos. The best player for the winners was American Jeremy Hollowell (203-1994, college: Georgia St.) who scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Jesus Medina (188-1994) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. American Erik McCree (202-1993, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Pensack Sports) produced 16 points and 5 rebounds and the former international point guard Garly Sojo (196-1999, agency: Pro Sports) added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Brillantes maintains fourth place with 9-5 record. Broncos at the other side dropped to the second position with four games lost. They share it with Trotamundos. Brillantes will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Broncos will play at home against Toros and are hoping to win this game.
