SPB top team - Broncos (12-4) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they beat seventh ranked Centauros (6-9) in Margarita 82-65. Broncos forced 23 Centauros turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Garly Sojo (196-1999, agency: Pro Sports) who scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. American Erik McCree (202-1993, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 13 points. Four Broncos players scored in double figures. Spanish-Dominican power forward Jhonatan Araujo (206-1996) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and naturalized Colombian Hector Diaz (192-1992) added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Broncos maintains first position with 12-4 record. Loser Centauros keep the seventh place with nine games lost. Broncos will meet Guaros (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Centauros will have a break next round.
