Very predictable result in Maracay where third ranked Broncos (15-6) beat 10th ranked Toros (3-18) 96-84 on Thursday. Broncos made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American Erik McCree (202-1993, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import swingman Jordan Williams (198-1992, college: N.Texas) helped adding 27 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Uruguayan Gaston Semiglia (186-1991) with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists and Cuban center Pedro Bombino (206-2000, agency: Pro Sports) scored 24 points and 9 rebounds. Five Broncos and four Toros players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Broncos maintains third place with 15-6 record behind leader Gladiadores. Loser Toros keep the tenth position with 18 games lost.
