Very important is a road loss of second ranked Astros (18-16) against fourth ranked Tijuana Zonkeys (18-16) on Friday night. Visiting Astros were defeated by Tijuana Zonkeys in a tough game in Tijuana 91-99. Tijuana Zonkeys looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American players dominated the game. Guard Joshua Webster (190-1997, college: Missouri St.) nailed a triple-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 15 assists for the winning side and Akia Pruitt (203-1997, college: UNCP) accounted for 31 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Jordan Loveridge (198-1993, college: Utah) came up with 28 points and 6 rebounds (perfect behind the arc making all five shots) and guard Shamorie Ponds (185-1998, college: St.John's) added 23 points respectively for Astros in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Astros' coach Ariel Rearte tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Tijuana Zonkeys moved-up to second place, which they share with Culiacan and Astros.
