Cangrejeros shot 60.8 percent from the field. Dominican forward Rich Polanco (203-1997, college: S.Dakota) scored 23 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Morris Sierralta (190-1987) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Cangrejeros players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Dominican point guard Raimer Santana (183-1997) with 27 points and 7 rebounds and Argentinian Salvador Giletto (195-1993) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Cangrejeros maintains tenth position with 3-18 record. Diablos lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 17 games lost. Cangrejeros will play against higher ranked Marinos (#8) in Puerto La Cruz in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
