Another interesting game was again a derby match of two local teams from Asuncion: Libertad A. (#5) and Atletico C. (#6). Libertad A. (6-4) smashed visiting Atletico C. (2-8) by 38 points 112-74. Libertad A. forced 22 Atletico C. turnovers and outrebounded them 38-27 including 24 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. The former international Rodney Mercado (191-1999) fired 29 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Diego Bareiro (195-1991) chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds. Libertad A.'s coach Cristian Viveros felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Daniel Jara produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists and Diego Ortega added 18 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Libertad A. moved-up to third place, which they share with Felix Perez and Colonias G. Atletico C. lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with eight games lost. They share it with Campo Alto. Libertad A.'s supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Asuncion to the arena Olimpia K..
