Very expected game when 7th ranked Lagomar (1-4) was crushed on the road by second ranked Aguada (5-1) 91-61 on Thursday. Aguada forced 21 Lagomar turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Camila Kirschenbaum (170-2002, college: Binghamton) who scored 21 points. Center Josefina Rivera (177-1998) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Paraguayan forward Natalia Quevedo (170-1998) produced 8 points and 8 rebounds and Victoria Cardoner added 11 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Aguada. Despite that victory Aguada went down to third position due to points difference, which they share with Malvin. Loser Lagomar keeps the seventh place with four games lost.
