There was no surprise when 6th ranked Pankull (1-4) was outplayed on the road by third ranked Puerto Montt (3-1) 72-44 on Saturday. Puerto Montt forced 24 Pankull turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Pankull's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Puerto Montt made 8 blocks. Nathalia Castellanos fired 12 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Center Catalina Azocar (-1997) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Five Puerto Montt players scored in double figures. Center Valentina Pincheira (-1995) produced 20 points and 5 rebounds and Valeria Pinto (-2001) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side.
