Not a big story in a game in Concepcion where 5th ranked Conce (1-4) was defeated by third ranked Infinito (4-2) 64-54 on Saturday. Infinito outrebounded Conce 47-35 including 18 on the offensive glass. Josefa Catalan (-2003) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Forward Gabriela Gonzalez (-2002) chipped in 15 points. Guard Barbara Crisostomo (-1994) produced 14 points and 7 rebounds and Romina Sanchez (-1999) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Infinito maintains third place with 4-2 record having just three point less than leader CDSC. Conce lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Univ.de Chile and Pankull. Infinito will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Conce will play against Truenos (#7) in Talca and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
