Regular Season Round 6: Cundinamarca - Caqueta 50-57

Cundinamarca (3-1) recorded its first loss at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Caqueta (1-4) 57-50. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Cundinamarca. Caqueta forced 22 Cundinamarca turnovers. The best player for the winners was center Angely Mendez (175-2000) who scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Mederith Venner chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four Caqueta players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Lady Quiroga (-2001) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and forward Leidy Montano (173-2004) added 7 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Cundinamarca's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Caqueta maintains fourth position with 1-4 record, which they share with Escuela. Cundinamarca at the other side dropped to the second place with one game lost. Caqueta is looking forward to face higher ranked Huila (#3) in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Cundinamarca will play against Bogota and is hoping to win this game.
