There was no surprise when 6th ranked Rojas (7-7) were outleveled by fourth ranked Adelitas (11-3) in Chihuahua 97-66 on Thursday. Adelitas forced 20 Rojas turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Rojas' players. American players dominated the game. The winners were led by center Channon Fluker (193-1997, college: CSUN) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds and guard Kristen Spolyar (178-1997, college: Butler) supported her with 20 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Five Adelitas players scored in double figures. Even 14 points and 9 rebounds by forward Stasha Carey (188-1995, college: Rutgers, agency: Shark Sports Management) did not help to save the game for Rojas. Guard Aurjanee Alix (168-1995, college: FSU) added 9 points for the guests. Adelitas have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Astros.
