Very expected game when 6th ranked Braves (2-10) were crushed on the road by second ranked Stingerz (10-3) 108-68 on Saturday. Stingerz dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Braves' 44. Stingerz forced 29 Braves turnovers and outrebounded them 78-54 including a 56-36 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Stingerz made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was forward Keroi Lee who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 23 rebounds. Jayden Andrew chipped in 21 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Five Stingerz players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Tamraj Stuart who recorded 15 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and Shaeim Omarde added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Stingerz. Despite that victory Stingerz went down to third position due to points difference. Braves lost their third game in a row. They keep the sixth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Slam and Spanish Heat. Stingerz will meet at home league's leader Potters S. in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
