There was a small surprise in Irapuato where ninth ranked Freseras (3-15) beat 7th ranked Halcones (10-10) 91-87 on Saturday. They outrebounded Halcones 46-35 including 32 on the defensive glass. American guard Sierra Moore (180-1994, college: Penn St.) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. The other American import guard Jaterra Bonds (170-1992, college: Florida) chipped in 11 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. American-Nigerian forward Amy Okonkwo (188-1996, college: TCU) produced 29 points and 9 rebounds and Montenegrin power forward Kristina Rakovic (186-1994) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Freseras and four Halcones players scored in double figures. Freseras maintains ninth position with 3-15 record, which they share with Correcaminos. Loser Halcones keep the seventh place with ten games lost.
