Regular Season Round 15: Quilpue - Llolleo 74-61

Bottom-ranked Llolleo (0-8) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 74-61 loss to fifth ranked Quilpue (2-6) in on Sunday evening. They also forced 22 Llolleo turnovers and outrebounded them 66-49 including 20 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for Jessica Zarate (-2001) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds. Josefa Arellano helped adding 18 points and 8 rebounds. Four Quilpue players scored in double figures. Quilpue's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Barbara Rodriguez (-2001) with 21 points and 6 rebounds and center Valeria Aguilera (-1996) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Quilpue maintains fifth place with 2-6 record. Llolleo lost their eighth game in a row. They still close the standings with eight games lost. They share the position with Larr Valdivia.
