Regular Season Round 10: Larranaga - Capitol 81-90

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Larranaga (6-1) in Montevideo on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Capitol (5-2) 90-81. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Larranaga. Capitol made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Jacob Ledoux (190-1997, college: UTPB) who helped to win the game recording 36 points (!!!) and 5 assists. The other American import forward Karachi Edo (196-1994, college: Fresno St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Edo is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Center Theo Metzger (200-1999) replied with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks and American forward DJ Foreman (203-1994, college: St.Louis) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Larranaga. Four Larranaga players scored in double figures. Capitol have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Olimpia. Larranaga at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. Capitol is looking forward to face Tabare (#8) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Larranaga will play against Sayago (#6) and is hoping to win this game.
