Metropolitan top team - Urunday (7-1) added another victory to their record on Wednesday. This time they beat tenth ranked Welcome (3-5) in Montevideo 94-87. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Welcome. Urunday looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists.
