The most important game in the last round took place in Veracruz between third ranked Astros (15-4) and fifth ranked Rojas (10-9) on Saturday night. Astros were crushed by Rojas on the road 77-57. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Astros. Rojas looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Akilah Bethel (183-1993, college: LSU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Deja Church (178-1998, college: DePaul) who added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Rojas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Joy Adams (180-1993, college: Iona) with 7 points and 11 rebounds and guard Brooke McCarty-Williams (163-1995, college: Texas) scored 10 points and 4 assists. Astros' coach Jonathan Villegas rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Despite that victory Rojas went down to sixth position due to points difference. Astros at the other side dropped to the second place with four games lost. They share the position with Panteras.
