Regular Season Round 3: Fenix - Immortals 56-67

Round 3 most important game was a victory of Immortals over Fenix 67-56 on Thursday night. They outrebounded Fenix 48-34 including 22 on the offensive glass. It was a good game for American swingman Jennifer Pena (175-1993, college: Missouri S&T) who led her team to a victory with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Her fellow American import forward Toccara Ross (185-1986, college: Iowa St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Immortals' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Yadira Polanco (178-1992) answered with 16 points and 8 rebounds and forward Dariana Santos (180-1991, college: Wiley) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Fenix. Immortals are looking forward to face Lady Monarchs in Flint in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Fenix will play against Indias and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
