There was an upset in Montevideo where higher ranked Sayago (5-3) was defeated by tenth ranked Stockolmo (3-5) 82-76 on Friday. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Facundo Terra (185-1998) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and center Martin Tessadri (200-2001) who added 11 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Stockolmo's coach Andres Borroni allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was Italian-Argentinian center Damian Tintorelli (205-1981) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and American Rakim Brown (198-1991, college: Humboldt St.) scored 17 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Five Stockolmo and four Sayago players scored in double figures. Stockolmo maintains tenth position with 3-5 record, which they share with Welcome and O.Mundial.
