Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Arabe de Valp. (6-5) won against 6th ranked Boston College (3-8) in Valparaiso 69-61 on Sunday. Forward Nicolas Vargas (-2001) nailed 24 points for the winning side and Pedro Soares accounted for 11 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Cristobal Ordonez (195-2004) came up with 26 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Lucas Marquez (196) added 18 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Boston College in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Arabe de Valp. moved-up to third place, which they share with Truenos. Loser Boston College keeps the sixth position with eight games lost. Arabe de Valp. will meet at home league's second-placed Sergio Ceppi in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Boston College's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Santiago to the arena Brisas.
