Important game to mention about took place in Montevideo. Fifth ranked 25 de Agosto (2-3) saved a 3-point victory at home edging one of their biggest challengers Yale (2-3) 62-59 in the fight for the third place. The winners were led by Sabrina Molina (179-1998) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points and 24 rebounds and Argentinian guard Candela Foresto (163-1999) supported her with 9 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. 25 de Agosto's coach Juan Loureiro used entire bench in such tough game. Even 19 points and 8 rebounds by Argentinian point guard Julieta Sienra (161-2003) did not help to save the game for Yale. Argentinian Agustina Bazan (174-2003) added 7 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 9 steals for lost side. 25 de Agosto moved-up to third place, which they share with Yale and D.Sporting. 25 de Agosto's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Malvin.
