The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: D.Sporting (#3) and 25 de Agosto (#4). 25 de Agosto was defeated at home 54-60 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. D.Sporting forced 19 25 de Agosto turnovers. It was a good game for Argentinian swingman Agustina Garcia (173-1996, agency: BIG) who led her team to a victory with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Argentinian center Ornela Bacchini (188-1989, college: OLLU) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Venezuelan point guard Jormelys Urbina (170-1996) replied with 24 points and 8 rebounds and Sabrina Molina (179-1998) added 5 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for 25 de Agosto. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. D.Sporting maintains third position with 4-3 record having just one point less than leader Remeros. 25 de Agosto at the other side dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. D.Sporting's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Malvin.
