An exciting game was played in Asuncion. First ranked Felix Perez faced 3rd ranked Libertad. Host Felix Perez (8-1) smashed guests from (4-5) 84-49. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Libertad. Felix Perez dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Libertad's 16. Felix Perez forced 21 Libertad turnovers and outrebounded them 44-24 including 31 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Libertad's players.
