There was a surprise result when fifteenth ranked Lagomar (6-14) defeated on the road higher ranked Colon (10-10) 64-56 on Wednesday. Lagomar shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. The best player for the winners was forward Federico Haller (200-1988) who scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Venezuelan Carlos Milano (198-1985) chipped in 8 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Emiliano Gonzalez (201-1988) produced 12 points and 7 rebounds and Agustin Amaral (196-1994) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Lagomar moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Verdirrojo and O.Mundial. Loser Colon dropped to the tenth position with ten games lost. They share it with Stockolmo and 25 de Agosto. Lagomar's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo 25 de Agosto.
