The game between Top Four teams took place in Chihuahua. host Dorados (3-3) lost to Astros (4-1) 94-87. The best player for the winners was American forward Jordan Loveridge (198-1993, college: Utah) who scored 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import power forward Brooks De Bisschop (206-1998, college: NAU) chipped in 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Four Astros players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Mark Lyons (185-1989, college: Arizona) who recorded 23 points and 4 assists and American-Filipino guard Mikh McKinney (184-1992, college: Sacramento St.) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Astros will meet at home Freseras (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Dorados will play against Halcones Rojos (#6) in Veracruz and hope to secure a win.
