Round 4 most important game was a victory of Tipitapa over one of their biggest challengers Leonas 77-67 on Sunday night. Tipitapa forced 21 Leonas turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 27 personal fouls committed by Leonas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Clenia Salazar (-1987) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 19 rebounds. The former international forward Shannen Peralta (-2003) contributed with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American guard Jocelyn Taylor (183-1997, college: SEMO) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and her fellow American import guard Jessica Marino (-2000) added 18 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Leonas. Leonas' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Tipitapa (2-4) moved-up to third place, which they share with UNI. Leonas at the other side dropped to the bottom position with five games lost.
