Rather predictable result in Queretaro where first ranked Libertadores (6-4) defeated one of their biggest challengers Abejas (6-4) 89-79 on Friday. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Libertadores outrebounded Abejas 43-32 including 30 on the defensive glass. American guard Avry Holmes (185-1994, college: Clemson) fired 24 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. The other American import forward Myke Henry (198-1992, college: DePaul) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Four Libertadores players scored in double figures.
