Important game to mention about took place in Esteli. Sixth ranked Jaguares (5-5) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 4th ranked Real Esteli (7-3) 116-115 on Saturday evening. Jaguares made 26-of-33 charity shots (78.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Real Esteli turnovers. Real Esteli was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Puerto Rican power forward Carlos Lopez-Sosa (209-1990, college: UNLV) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists and American Joel Kindred (193-1991, college: St.Augustine) who added 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international swingman Jared Ruiz (188-1992) with 39 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 6 assists and American forward Christopher Blake (195-1988, college: Detroit) scored 23 points and 4 assists. Four Real Esteli players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Jaguares have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 5-5 record. Real Esteli at the other side dropped to the third place with three games lost. Jaguares will play against league's second-placed Leon in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Real Esteli will have a break next round.
