An interesting game for Jaguares (8-3) which hosted in Managua their biggest opponent Real Esteli (6-4). First ranked Jaguares managed to get a 12-point victory 80-68. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman DAsia Chambers (182-1992, college: Slippery Rock) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 5 assists. The other American import swingman Jessica Fairweather (180-1990, college: Queens, NY) contributed with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American guard Janae Barnes (183-1995, college: Johnson CCC) replied with 18 points and 9 rebounds and Honduran forward Nelly Rapalo (173-1999) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Real Esteli. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jaguares maintains first position with 8-3 record. Defending champion Real Esteli dropped to the third place with four games lost.
