An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Monterrey. First ranked Fuerza Regia faced 4th placed Libertadores. Host Fuerza Regia (12-2) defeated guests from Queretaro (8-6) 81-69. It was a great evening for Argentinian-Italian point guard Lucas Faggiano (188-1989, college: LIU Brooklyn) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points. American point guard Marquis Wright (185-1995, college: Siena) helped adding 11 points and 6 assists. At the losing side American-DR Congolese center Emmanuel Wembi (205-1997, college: Lenoir-Rhyne) responded with 8 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Myke Henry (198-1992, college: DePaul) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Fuerza Regia have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-2 record which they share with defeated Libertadores. Loser Libertadores still keep top position with six games lost. They share it with Panteras and Dorados. Fuerza Regia will meet Abejas (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Libertadores will play against Dorados and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
