Regular Season Round 7: Fuerza Regia - Libertadores 82-97

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Fuerza Regia (12-2) in Monterrey. Hosts were defeated by Libertadores (8-6) 97-82. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Fuerza Regia. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Libertadores shot 64.9 percent from the field. Point guard Marquis Wright (185-1995, college: Siena) answered with 25 points and guard Daniel Bejarano (193-1991, college: Colorado St.) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Fuerza Regia. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Libertadores keep a position of league leader, which they share with Panteras and Dorados. Fuerza Regia at the other side still keeps top place with two games lost. Libertadores will play against Dorados (#3) in Chihuahua in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Fuerza Regia will play on the road against Abejas in Guanajuato and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
