Regular Season Round 5: Team Cali - Sabios 101-68

Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Sabios (1-5) were rolled over on the road by fourth ranked Team Cali (4-1) 101-68 on Tuesday. Team Cali dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Sabios' 22 and made 20-of-20 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. The best player for the winners was American Tirrell Brown (198-1993, college: OBU) who scored 19 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). American-Puerto Rican guard Brian Vazquez (190-1994) chipped in 23 points. Five Team Cali players scored in double figures. American guard Kylon Higgins (190-1993, college: Arkansas Tech) produced 29 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) and guard Jerson Martinez (185-1992) added 19 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Team Cali moved-up to third place, which they share with Cafeteros. Sabios lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with five games lost.
