Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Espanol O. (4-3) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Castro (0-6) 84-73 on Sunday. Espanol O. made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was the former international Carlos Lauler (190) who scored 27 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international Sebastian Suarez (193-1991, college: Portland St.) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. Espanol O.'s coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Yahota Rasas (-1999) who recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and 22 rebounds and guard Ricardo Cardenas (173-1995) added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists respectively.
