Top ranked Libertadores (17-7) recorded its seventh loss in Guadalajara on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked Astros (15-9) 80-69. The best player for the winners was American-Puerto Rican Javier Mojica (189-1984, college: CCSU) who scored 20 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American power forward Juvonte Reddic (206-1992, college: VCU) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Five Astros players scored in double figures. American forward Myke Henry (198-1992, college: DePaul) produced 23 points and the other American import guard Branden Frazier (191-1992, college: Fordham) added 11 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains third place with 15-9 record having just two points less than leader Abejas, which they share with Halc.Xalapa. Libertadores at the other side still keep top position with seven games lost. They share it with Abejas. Astros is looking forward to face league's leader Abejas in Guanajuato in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Libertadores will play at home against Halcones Rojos and are hoping to win this game.
