Rather predictable result when thirteenth ranked San Martin (2-1) defeated on the road 16th ranked Zarate (1-3) 85-70 on Wednesday. Guard Agustin Perez (192-1999) fired 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Lucas Gargallo (196-1995) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Five San Martin players scored in double figures. Agustin Brocal (191-1997) produced 34 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Lucas Andujar (185-1996) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists respectively for lost side. Zarate's coach Juan Anglese rotated ten players saving starting five for next games. San Martin moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Obera and San Lorenzo. Newly promoted Zarate dropped to the seventeenth position with three games lost. They share it with Penarol. San Martin will meet Independ.O. (#14) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Zarate will have a break next round.
