There was no surprise in Almagra where bottom-ranked San Lorenzo (0-4) was defeated by sixth ranked Obera (3-1) 72-66 on Friday. Power forward Kelvin Ramirez (204-2002) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Nicolas Quiroga (191-2003) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Four Obera players scored in double figures. Thiago Roca (-2004) produced 25 points and 7 rebounds and guard Lucas Latorre (183-2002) added 10 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. San Lorenzo's coach Juan Veira tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Ferro and Riachuelo LR. Loser San Lorenzo still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Platense. Obera will meet at home Obras (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. San Lorenzo will play against San Martin (#17) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
